Green tea is a beverage rich in methylxanthines, including caffeine, as well as antioxidant polyphenols. Panax Ginseng contains ginsenosides that are deglycosylated into compound K, which exhibits anti-inflammatory effects by suppressing memory B cell subsets and reducing corticosterone plasma levels. Moreover, compound K has been shown to improve metabolism by balancing blood glucose and increasing insulin sensitivity through the up-regulation of insulin receptor substrate 1.
